ELIGIBILITY:
1. Active service and honorably discharged Veterans of the United States Armed Forces, including our
National Guard / Reserve Forces;
2. Widows(ers) of Veterans of the United States Armed Forces killed in action;
3. Spouses of severely disabled veterans of the United States Armed Forces;
4. Spouses of military service people currently on active duty in the United States Armed Forces.
NOTE: To maintain the integrity of our Veteran membership, proof of eligibility will be required prior to posting.
BENEFITS:
1. Job Posting Search within the AmeriVet Network data base which shall be exclusive to Veterans and their Eligible Dependents. This data base of current jobs will be populated by Core Supporters, Business Members, and Sponsors who have targeted Veterans as a primary hiring goal. To insure the integrity of the information, job postings will be posted for maximum 30 days. Application for the position will be made through the Veterans Network web-link so that the Employer / Business is assured of a certified Veteran applicant;
2. An AmeriVet Network emblem will be sent to you for your automobile;
3. Free AmeriVet Newsletter subscription (via e-mail) which provides you with updates on employment trends, current legislation related to veterans, and helpful hints from Human Resource, Business, and Government advisors;
4. Permission to use AmeriVet Network Veteran Member trademark on letter head and correspondence;
5. An AmeriVet Network Veteran Member card will be sent to you as identification for valuable discounts provided to Veteran Members of our network from time to time.
6. Access to Veteran Only sections of the AmeriVet Network web-site.
ANNUAL FEE:
A nominal annual charge of $15.00 per year is needed to cover cost of status verification and mail-outs. If you are unable to pay this fee it will be waived with proof of Veteran status.
